We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Investment Readiness Program, a major new initiative from MEIA in partnership with the Maryland Department of Commerce. This six-month effort is specifically designed to equip Maryland based climate-tech startups with the knowledge, tools, and investor insights they need to successfully raise capital.
Over the next six months, we’ll be working closely with each of the companies as they refine their strategies, sharpen their pitch decks, build outreach pipelines, and prepare to raise their next round of capital.
The cohort will participate in a structured combination of:
- Weekly workshops on investor readiness, financial forecasting, fundraising strategy, investor outreach, and data-room preparation
- Panels and peer learning sessions with active investors and funded founders, sharing expectations, challenges, and best practices for early-stage fundraising
- One-on-one coaching (January–March) focused on pitch decks, deal rooms, investor lists, and outreach execution
