The Clean Energy Advantage (CEA) Loan Pilot Program offers Maryland residents a convenient and affordable financing option for residential energy improvements for all income levels.
Affordable Clean Energy: 0% for 24 months, reduced interest rates, utility rebates
Reduce your energy bill and improve the comfort of your home with this low-cost financing option, offering 0% financing for 24 months and reduced interest rates. In addition to the low cost loan, this financing is designed to be combined with existing utility rebates, further lowering the cost to the homeowner.
Bringing Affordable Loans to You
The CEA Loan Pilot Program is administered, in partnership, by the Maryland Clean Energy Center and the Montgomery County Green Bank and authorized by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) to fund the program.
The CEA program has approved over $1 million in financing for Maryland home energy improvements.
Getting Started and Eligibility
The CEA program is open to residents using any of the following utilities: BGE, Delmarva Power, Pepco, Potomac Edison, SMECO and Washington Gas. Customers must contact a participating contractor within their utility and decide on eligible high-efficiency equipment and measures prior to beginning an application.
Project eligibility requirements vary based on the utility partner, but can include HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), HEIP (Home Energy Improvement Projects), HPwES (Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®), HPWH (Heat Pump Water Heater) projects.
