Economic Impact Study
A comprehensive study performed by the Business Economic and Community Outreach Network (BEACON) at Salisbury University, titled “Economic Impact of the Maryland Clean Energy Center,” revealed that MCEC has established itself as a vital component of the state’s economic infrastructure. By evaluating operations and initiatives through 2025, the report demonstrates that clean energy investment is an important component of the fiscal and environmental health in Maryland.
Chestertown Case Study
MCEC worked with the Town of Chestertown to fund and develop a dual-array solar project to provide affordable electricity for residential use and municipal operations. MCEC utilized its project management services and various financing structures supported by MCEC’s suite of lending programs to support the project from idea to implementation.
