The Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant (CFI) provides funding for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and invests in innovative workforce development. Through CFI, statewide public and private partners, the Maryland Equitable Charging Infrastructure Partnership (MECIP), will collaborate to expand equitable charging infrastructure throughout the State of Maryland. These additional charging sites will ensure that all electric vehicle owners in Maryland will have access to EV charging stations. With increased access, more Marylanders will feel confident purchasing electric vehicles, knowing there are nearby locations to charge.
Approved Charging Sites
A total of 58 MCEC Community Charging Sites have been approved across Maryland. These locations are marked in the maps below with blue pins. Additionally, communities that fall under the Justice40 Initiative are highlighted in pink.
