Due to the announcement that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) plans to end the Solar for All program, the Maryland Clean Energy Center has put this opportunity on hold.
The Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) is excited to announce that they are seeking to build a roster of qualified Solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) under the Maryland Solar for All Grant Program (MSFAP) for Single-Family Residential Solar projects. MCEC has been awarded the Grant by the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Solar for All Program to fund solar and solar storage projects that will expand equitable access to the benefits of solar energy to low-income residents in the state of Maryland. Qualified offerors for this RFQ will be able to provide the following:
- Design, permitting, installation, and maintenance of solar energy systems
- Support for MSFAP’s equity, affordability, and climate goals
- Compliance with MSFAP’s Terms and Conditions
The desired overall outcome is to establish a roster of approved providers capable of implementing solar and solar storage systems for qualifying low-income residents in compliance with EPA’s Terms and Conditions.
Qualification submittals should highlight offerors’ experience providing related services to residential solar projects in the State of Maryland.
