From Idea to Implementation

The Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) worked with the Town of Chestertown to fund and develop a dual-array solar project to provide affordable electricity for residential use and municipal operations. Through project management services and various financing structures supported by MCEC’s suite of lending programs, the project became reality and broke ground in July 2026.
