CLEAN ENERGY ADVANTAGE

Maryland residents have an affordable, fixed rate financing option for home energy improvement projects. MCEC and the Montgomery County Green Bank have launched the Clean Energy Advantage (CEA) Loan Program, authorized by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) with approved funding from EmPOWER Maryland.

RFI FOR FEDERAL FUNDS

Through a Request for Information (RFI), MCEC seeks to gather information regarding the potential use of State funds to implement the priorities outlined in Maryland’s Climate Solutions Now Act and associated Climate Pollution Reduction Plan, the Clean Energy Jobs Act and Clean Energy Future package, and leverage federal financing from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office.

CLIMATE CATALYTIC CAPITAL FUND

The Climate Catalytic Capital (C3) Fund, created with passage of the Climate Solutions Now Act of 2022,  exists to increase implementation of clean energy measures and technologies intended to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impact of climate change.

drive reductions in greenhouse gas emissions associated with the use of fossil fuels.
