Phase 2: Prototyping & Manufacturing
Phase 2 programming is intended to help support teams that are ready to scale. After working closely with the community to identify gaps in the development process, we’ve recognized the need for enhanced support in prototyping and manufacturing. Our Phase 2 program will collaborate with teams at this critical stage, integrating them into Maryland’s innovation ecosystem to drive growth and scalability.
MEIA’s focus with Accelerator participants is to boost the Startup’s credibility with third party investors. Activities may include:
- Enhance customer development and identification of strategic partners.
- Facilitate introductions to funders and assist with obtaining seed or Series A funding.
- Assist with development a detailed product development roadmap and a manufacturing strategy that advances the technology to market as quickly as possible.
- Assist with making connections to other State of Maryland services that support Startups.
