CLEAN ENERGY ADVANTAGE

Maryland residents have an affordable, fixed rate financing option for home energy improvement projects. MCEC and the Montgomery County Green Bank have launched the Clean Energy Advantage (CEA) Loan Program, authorized by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) with approved funding from EmPOWER Maryland.

WHAT DOES MCEC DO?

MCEC has an economic development mission to advance the adoption of clean energy, and energy efficiency products, services and technologies. MCEC engages in efforts to help:

create and retain jobs;

drive economic and business development in local communities;

assist in the commercialization of innovative technologies;

reduce energy costs for consumers, and

drive reductions in greenhouse gas emissions associated with the use of fossil fuels.

The 2023 MCEC Legislative Reception will be held on February 23, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, in a hybrid format to host in-person networking, and allow remote attendees to hear from guest speakers on the climate and energy legislation, and related workforce and economic priorities, under consideration for policy and regulation under consideration by the Maryland General Assembly.

Featured panels will focus on Workforce Development & Leadership and Energy & Climate Justice, Equity, and Accessibility.
