Cost-effective operation of buildings and facilities is even more critical in light of current economic realities. Michele Mitch-Peterson is a customer-first Ingenuity Consultant for Siemens Smart Infrastructure in the Mid-Atlantic. In this position, Michele leverages her background in decarbonization, decentralization and digitalization to help clients solve challenges as opportunities through Total Energy Management to ensure energy is reliable, intelligent, sustainable, and its impact on the environment is beneficial. Michele has over 25 years’ leadership experience in sales, marketing, solution design and management.

Since 2011, Michele served on the Board for the Maryland Clean Energy Center from 2011 - 2020, with the last four years of her term as Board Vice-Chair. From 2014 to 2016, Michele served as a member of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments - Climate, Energy and Environmental Policy Committee. In 2015, Michele was appointed to the Maryland Climate Commission - Education, Communication and Outreach Committee and was a member of Virginia Governor McAuliffe’s committee on Energy Efficiency. Also, Michele maintains active membership in the Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment, Association of Energy Engineers, and the Energy Services Coalition.

Michele was born in Baltimore, grew up on the Eastern Shore and resides in Annapolis, MD. She holds a BA degree in Marketing from Frostburg State University and a Master's in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University along with continued education through Executive Management courses in strategic planning, business development, and finance.

Jesse is the Siemens energy services portfolio manager for North America, responsible for the development of new offerings and supporting the operational readiness of field energy engineers. He has over 10 years experience in energy engineering, including work on building HVAC, large district chilled water plants, and combined heat and power plants. Jesse holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.

We use a comprehensive approach to improve the air quality and health of buildings. Methods include enhanced ventilation and filtration, ionization technology and UV lighting applications. Multilayered solutions of established products and techniques provide a holistic approach to a safer, healthier indoor environment.

Adam Landsman is the President of PulseIQ, which serves multifamily and commercial properties with an innovative energy management solution. PulseIQ helps clients save money, improve maintenance, and keep occupants happier and healthier by optimizing and improving the efficiency of their buildings' mechanical systems.

Prior to joining PulseIQ Adam was a Vice President at Abaris Realty. Adam was a member of the firm's executive leadership team, leading business development, strategy and operations for a property management practice serving 160 clients with $75M in annual revenues. In addition to managing a large and diverse portfolio of properties, he also worked with Abaris clients to implement cost-effective energy efficiency strategies.

Adam has experience serving a broad range of clients and industries, working for a boutique patent litigation firm, for the Center for Strategic and International Studies and for the leading government consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton where he led multiple real estate, environmental policy, alternative energy and emerging technology projects for Federal government clients.

Adam earned a Master of Science degree from the University College London's School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University's School of Information Studies.

Chris Pyke, Ph.D. is the Senior Vice President for Product for ArcSkoru, Inc. Prior to joining Arc, Dr. Pyke was the Chief Strategy Officer for Aclima, Inc., Chief Operating Officer for GRESB, B.V., Vice President for Research at the US Green Building Council, and a physical scientist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He is a principal investigator for the Green Health Partnership, a long-term research initiative supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Dr. Pyke has served in a number of advisory roles, including as a lead author for the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, chair of the US EPA Chesapeake Bay Program Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee, and co-chair of the U.S. Climate Change Science Program Interagency Working Group on Human Contributions and Responses to Climate Change. Dr. Pyke is on the faculty of the Urban and Regional Planning Program at Georgetown University. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a B.S. from the College of William and Mary.
