MEIA to Host Pitch Event Finale for Cohort 1

Join MCEC and the Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator (MEIA) on June 23, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, for the Cohort 1 Finale Event.

This virtual event is the culmination of 5 months of work by teams participating in the Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator’s inaugural cohort. Three Startup Teams will pitch to a panel of judges from Constellation Technology Ventures, Maryland Momentum Fund, and Prime Impact Fund to compete for a $1,000 prize sponsored by the Maryland Department of Commerce. The winner will be announced before the conclusion of the program.

MEIA is a venture development program that focuses on commercialization of technology developed in Maryland-based universities and laboratories. MCEC launched MEIA in late 2019, and Cohort 1 began in January 2020.

We are excited to celebrate the achievements of the participants of Cohort 1, and hope you will join us as they showcase their clean energy technologies!
