Who We Are

Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) was created by statute to promote clean energy solutions and facilitate greenhouse gas reduction measures to reduce the impact of climate change.

MCEC takes a comprehensive approach and works with a diverse array of stakeholders to accomplish its economic, environmental, and community development initiatives.

Our Mission

MCEC is managed by a Board of Directors who are appointed by the Governor. MCEC also maintains an Advisory Council, composed of both public and private stakeholders acting in the energy sector, who help guide the work plan of the organization.

Our Approach

MCEC advances the adoption of clean energy and energy efficient products, services, and technologies by providing:
