Diverse Group of Energy Professionals Appointed to MCEC’s Advisory Council for 2022
The Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) has appointed 57 individuals to serve on its 2022 Advisory Council. The Council draws input from collaborative groups to advise MCEC in achieving its mission.
“As global priorities focus on ways to best combat climate change, Maryland is fortunate to have so many clean energy leaders to support strategic solutions,” said Kathy Magruder, MCEC Executive Director. “There are exciting opportunities for innovation and technology, but it takes collaborative efforts across sectors, working with local communities and policy leaders to find and implement solutions to reduce carbon emissions.”
Advisory Council Members are consulted to help determine priority actions related to finance, outreach & education, policy & legislation, clean energy innovation, and impact measurement associated with market expansion for advanced energy in the state.
