Are you age 18-25 and interested in working in environmental education? Or, do you know any young adults who might be interested in a one-year position with a conservation organization?
The Izaak Walton League of America has the opportunity to serve as a host organization for a Chesapeake Conservation Corps participant and is looking for young adults who would like to participate. The Chesapeake Bay Trust Conservation Corps program provides service learning opportunities and green job training for young adults (age 18-25) through environmental and energy conservation projects. The one-year position is full-time, starts in August 2012, and is located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The volunteer would receive a stipend from the Chesapeake Bay Trust and benefits.
