MCEC will support commercialization & entrepreneurial innovation in the state’s clean energy sector through the Maryland Clean Energy Technology Incubator Network to speed promising technologies along from the bench to the bank, and create a vibrant environment for new business creation and growth.
From start-ups to established operations, we're working to ensure the resources critical for business success.
Maryland Clean Energy Technology Incubator Network: Technical assistance along with office and lab space to help start-up companies move products along the development pipeline and grow to viability.
Montgomery County Innovation Network: Founded in 1999 with the opening of the Shady Grove Innovation Center, the Business Innovation Network has worked with over 250 teams of entrepreneurs and graduated about 100 companies. Over the last 10 years the Network has grown to five business incubation centers that offer the critical combination of highly flexible, modern office and lab space and business support services.
