Business Resources

The Maryland Clean Energy Center supports businesses at any stage – from research and development to established business operations – by ensuring the factors critical to success:

  • Supporting the adoption and implementation of appropriate policy to remove the roadblocks that impede progress for the clean energy sector
  • Securing financing opportunities
  • Providing appropriate workforce development opportunities, focusing on initiatives that fill unique training gaps unmet by existing programs

MCEC is already at work with organizations and people in the state developing clean energy technologies, products, and services. We are developing partnerships and collaboration between academic institutions, Federal labs, and industry – and are actively seeking to secure sources of funding to expand our business support capabilities.

Join us in advocating for greater support:

  • Become a sponsor
  • Make a tax-deductible personal donation

Business Acceleration: Programs and resources to help businesses start-up and grow.

Financing: Funding sources for clean energy businesses.

Training and Development: Initiatives, programs, and educational resources to prepare a green collar workforce

Advocacy: Policy positions and agendas to support clean energy goals
